There has been much discussion lately on how New Hampshire fares fiscally, whether it is under the leadership of a Republican or Democrat majority in the House, Senate, and corner office. These are valid conversations to have, because this is one of the most direct influences the State House has on the wallets of all Granite State residents.
To answer that question, NH House Republicans put together a fiscal retrospective for 2007-2010, which represents the last, and only, time New Hampshire was under a full Democrat majority. Since this document was written by one political party reporting on the other political party, it contains the expected partisan flair. However, it is worth sharing because the data in the document is factual and provides one of the most thorough look-backs on this critical time period.
