Thank You, Hollis! A Message from the Common Sense Team

We want to extend our gratitude to all of you who supported us throughout this campaign. Whether you were with us from the very beginning or joined us along the way, each of you played a crucial role in this incredible victory. Your trust, enthusiasm, and commitment to our common sense vision made all the difference.

To our generous donors—thank you for fueling our efforts and keeping us moving forward. To everyone who proudly displayed our signs, you showcased a commitment to Common Sense values across Hollis. And to those who made phone calls, knocked on doors, and engaged in meaningful conversations—you were the true heart of this campaign, bringing our message directly to our neighbors.

This win belongs to all of us. Together, we have accomplished something remarkable: flipping two Hollis State Representative seats from Blue to Red by sending two of our Common Sense candidates, Liz Barbour and Jack Flanagan, to Concord. Although we did not get to send Sue Homola to Concord with us, she is incredibly grateful that the common sense message is going to the State House.

 2024 Hollis Election Day results:

District 35 Results:

Liz Barbour:   2,867

Kat McGhee: 2,856

Sue Homola: 2,682

Will Walker:  2,665

District 45 Results:

Jack Flanagan:  2,845

Karen Calabro: 2,745

Statewide, New Hampshire voters have delivered a strong mandate, with a comfortable majority in the House and a two-thirds supermajority in the Senate. In a surprising upset, Kevin Avard beat Hollis' own Ben Ming in the Hollis state senate race by 140 votes. Governor-Elect Kelly Ayotte’s victory further solidifies the call for common sense governance.

Liz Barbour and Jack Flanagan are ready to bring Hollis’s voice to Concord, and they carry the strength of a remarkable community and campaign team behind them.

Thank you for your dedication, belief, and trust. Together, we’re making a difference, and we look forward to the positive change that lies ahead.

With gratitude,

The Common Sense Team

Liz Barbour, Sue Homola, and Jack Flanagan
