Susan Benz Endorses Liz: “Liz Listens, Asks Thoughtful Questions, and Does Her Homework”

I have had the pleasure of knowing Liz Barbour for more than 20 years. We have worked together on a variety of town projects, and I have seen her dedication to bringing people together for a common cause in countless ways.

I have been particularly impressed with her creation of The Positively Hollis Post. In usual fashion, Liz saw a need and went into action. Her work to create a town-wide newspaper reflects Liz’s genuine love for Hollis and her desire to strengthen the connections between neighbors.

As our State Representative, she has brought those same qualities to Concord. Her work on the House Environment and Agriculture Committee, and her appointment as Vice Chairman, speak to the respect she has earned among her colleagues. I have no doubt that House leadership recognized in Liz what I have known for years: Liz listens, asks thoughtful questions, and does her homework. She takes her responsibilities seriously and approaches them with care and an open mind.

My support for Liz is based not on politics, but on the character and values I have witnessed throughout our long friendship. I know her to be thoughtful, hardworking, and committed to the community we both love. I am proud to support her for another term as our State Representative.
