Jack is a 33-year community member with a distinguished history of public service. He graduated from Boston University and earned a master’s in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Jack has served the community as the Chairman of SAU 41 School District Board, Vice Chairman of the Hollis-Brookline Cooperative School District Board, Chairman of the Brookline School Board, Chairman of the Brookline Finance Committee, and as a Brookline Selectman.

State Representative Service

As a Representative in the New Hampshire House for eight years, Jack Flanagan has served as House Majority Leader, and as a member of the House Labor Committee, the Legislative Administration Committee, the House Rules Committee, and the Joint Committee of Legislative Facilities.

Legislative Achievements while serving in Concord include:

- Maximized school funding in District 45

- Worked to defeat the Kinder Morgan Pipeline

- Obtained local sidewalk grants
 
- Increased internet speed in District 45 through state funding
